Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 24, BAIC Group and Beijing Chemical Industry Group (BCIGC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aimed at advancing collaborative development across their respective industries and exploring new models for in-depth cooperation.
According to the agreement, the two companies will work together in several areas, including the co-development and application of new automotive materials, improvement of automotive material testing and inspection services, vehicle procurement for enterprises and employees, cooperation on industrial funds, and digital transformation solutions for enterprises.
A key focus of the collaboration will be the promotion and development of new chemical materials for automotive applications. By leveraging their respective strengths and technical expertise, BAIC Group and BCIGC aim to diversify the range of materials used in automotive production and expand their application fields, pushing for greater localization.
The two companies also seek to establish a joint investment fund for new materials industries, targeting key technologies and innovations in automotive materials and related chemical raw materials. Additionally, BAIC Group will offer BCIGC and its subsidiaries a full range of vehicle options and personalized mobility solutions to enhance corporate and employee transportation services.
