【SMM Daily Review: Cobalt Sulphate Spot Prices Pulled Back on March 26】The SMM cobalt sulphate index price was 49,318 yuan/mt, down 126 yuan/mt MoM from the previous working day. The spot price of cobalt sulphate ranged from 48,500 to 51,000 yuan/mt, with an average of 49,750 yuan/mt, down 50 yuan/mt MoM from the previous working day. From the perspective of supply and demand, mainstream salt plants maintained high quotations, with a strong sentiment of holding back goods. Downstream enterprises have basically completed monthly restocking, and the actual market transactions were slightly weak, forming a two-way squeeze state of "high prices without market, low prices without volume.

Goldman Sachs raised the target price of Horizon Robotics to HK$13.33 and maintained a "Buy" rating. The firm holds a positive view on the long-term partnership between Horizon Robotics and Li Auto, reflecting Horizon Robotics' credibility as a supplier. The firm maintained a "Buy" rating on Horizon Robotics, raising the target price from HK$11.77 to HK$13.33.

【Sluggish Market Transactions: Decline in Spot Premiums and Discounts】 SMM reported on the 26th: The mainstream transaction price of 0# zinc in Guangdong ranged from 24,075 to 24,260 yuan/mt. Mainstream brands were quoted at a discount of 20 yuan/mt against the 2505 contract and a premium of 20 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot cargo. The Shanghai-Guangdong price spread remained stable. In the first session, suppliers offered discounts of 35-10 yuan/mt for Qilin, Mengzi, Huize, Danxia, and Lan zinc. In the second session, Qilin and Mengzi were quoted at discounts of 30-25 yuan/mt against the online price. Overall, the futures market continued to fluctuate at highs today. Downstream enterprises had previously restocked at low prices, coupled with strong fear of high prices, leading to weaker market transactions. Some traders lowered premiums to facilitate sales, resulting in a slight decline in spot premiums and discounts.

In February, Chinese EV Brands Outperformed Tesla in Overall European Sales. Market research firm JATO Dynamics reported on Monday that in February this year, the overall sales of Chinese EV brands surpassed Tesla. BYD and Polestar achieved growth rates of 94% and 84%, with sales exceeding 4,000 and 2,000 units respectively. XPeng delivered over 1,000 units, while Leap Motor delivered nearly 900 units. However, the sales of BEV models under Geely's Volvo and SAIC's MG declined by 30% and 67% respectively.
