Shanghai (Gasgoo)- LIVAN Auto, a new energy vehicle maker under Lifan Technology, unveiled the right-hand drive version of the LIVAN 8 model in Jakarta, Indonesia, following the domestic launch at the Auto Guangzhou 2024 on November 15, according to a post on Lifan Technology's WeChat account.
The LIVAN 8, a large 7-seater battery electric MPV, is positioned as LIVAN Auto's first global-oriented model. The company said the vehicle's launch in Indonesia not only offers local consumers a new choice for family and business transportation but also highlights LIVAN's innovation and technology in the electric vehicle sector.
In terms of styling, the LIVAN 8 features a sleek and sophisticated exterior design, with a new front fascia that conveys a robust, premium feel.
The LIVAN 8 adopts a 2/2/3 seating layout. As for size, it boasts a body length of 4,812 mm, width of 1,909 mm, and height of 1,699 mm, with an wheelbase of 2,807 mm. The vehicle offers a total cabin volume of 1,798 liters, ensuring generous space for passengers and cargo. Even with all seats fully occupied, the trunk offers 459 liters of storage, making it an ideal choice for both short family trips and long-distance travel. Additionally, the second-row executive seating design enhances comfort and ease of access to the third row, greatly improving the overall passenger experience.
Regarding the range, the LIVAN 8 offers two battery options based on capacity: 50.4kWh and 64.74kWh, enabling a range of up to 530km.
