According to Shandong Gaodengsai Energy Group Co., Ltd., on the morning of December 16, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shandong Gaodengsai Solid-State Battery, Runya Sodium Battery, and Guorun Perovskite Battery Comprehensive Research Institute was held in the Weishan Economic Development Zone, Shandong.
It is reported that the Gaodengsai Solid-State Battery, Runya Sodium Battery, and Guorun Perovskite Battery Comprehensive Research Institute is located in the Polymer Industrial Park on Jianshe Road, Weishan County, Jining City, Shandong Province. It is jointly invested and constructed by Gaodengsai Group, Runya Group, and Guorun Energy, with a total construction area of 20,000 m². The project includes the construction of R&D workshops, physical and chemical laboratories, testing and certification laboratories, office buildings, and other auxiliary facilities, with a total investment of 200 million yuan. It comprises five core R&D divisions, covering solid-state battery R&D, sodium-ion battery R&D, perovskite battery R&D, power battery system R&D, and energy storage system R&D. Currently, the research institute has an R&D team of over 80 members, including 15 PhDs.
