The total steel shipment volume at SMM national ports was 749.5 mt, down 24,600 mt WoW, a decrease of 0.3%. Among them, the total shipment volume at six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin Xingang Port, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) was 2.7211 million mt, down 34,600 mt WoW, accounting for 36% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume at three major east China ports (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, Lanbei Port) was 693,100 mt, up 147,900 mt WoW, accounting for 9% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume at two major south China ports (Zhanjiang Port, Fangchenggang) was 479,700 mt, down 53,100 mt WoW, accounting for 6% of the total shipment volume.

2. Port Arrival Data

The total steel port arrival volume in China was 7.4078 million mt, down 654,400 mt WoW, a decrease of 8%. Among them, the total port arrival volume at 13 major east China ports was 410.42 mt, down 427,600 mt WoW, accounting for 55% of the weekly port arrival volume. The total port arrival volume at Guangzhou Port in south China was 574,100 mt, down 102,200 mt WoW, accounting for 8% of the weekly port arrival volume.

The total steel port departure volume globally (excluding China) was 2.2999 million mt, up 37% WoW. The total steel port departure volume at Chinese ports was 2.2039 million mt, down 29% WoW.
