[SMM Electric Furnace Operating Rate: Slight Increase in Electric Furnace Operating Rate as Most Steel Mills Announce Annual Maintenance Plans]
According to the SMM survey, as of December 31, the operating rate of 50 major electric furnace steel mills producing construction materials nationwide was 38.20%, down 0.44% MoM; the capacity utilisation rate was 39.88%, up 0.67% MoM; the daily average production of construction materials was 88,800 mt, up 1,500 mt MoM.
