Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The BYD SEALION 07 DM-i, a plug-in hybrid electric SUV from BYD, has been included in a catalogue recently issued by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
In terms of exterior design, the SEALION 07 DM-i retains the design language of the Ocean X concept model. The vehicle features a closed-off front grille, giving it a sporty appeal. Notably, a LiDAR sensor is integrated in the center of the front windshield, enabling BYD's advanced autonomous driving technology.
The side profile of the SEALION 07 DM-i showcases a sleek and fastback design, featuring hidden door handles and dual five-spoke wheels. At the rear, the model adopts a full-width taillight strip with an updated illuminated LOGO technology, enhancing its futuristic vibe.
As for size, the vehicle measures 4,880mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,940mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm.
The interior of the SEALION 07 DM-i is expected to feature a layout similar to that of the BYD Song L. The model includes a full liquid-crystal dashboard and a large 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen. It is equipped with the DiLink 110 infotainment system, supporting 360-degree image system, mapping navigation, voice interaction, app downloads, and OTA (over-the-air) updates.
Under the hood, the SEALION 07 DM-i features a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined system power of 315 kW. The model is also equipped with a lithium iron phosphate Blade Battery pack, CTB (cell-to-body) technology, and a DiSus-C intelligent body damping control system.
