Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 1, Great Wall Motor's TANK brand officially put the TANK 500 Hi4-Z model onto the market, with both two variants priced at 363,800 yuan. The new model is equipped with the brand's latest Hi4-Z longitudinal dual-motor hybrid architecture, combining a 2.0T engine and two electric motors.
The TANK 500 Hi4-Z retains the design of the TANK 500 Hi4-T, with dimensions of 5,078mm long, 1,934mm wide, 1,905mm tall, with a 2,850mm wheelbase, and a ground clearance of 210mm. The approach and departure angles are 29 degrees and 24 degrees, respectively, making it adept for off-road capabilities.
The vehicle features a five-seat layout with Nappa leather seats as standard. It includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 14.6-inch central control screen, and a 7-inch rear-row display, which integrates with an HUD for four-screen interaction. The onboard Coffee OS 3 system supports multi-zone voice recognition and wireless connectivity through Huawei HiCar and Carlink.
Built on an 800V platform, the TANK 500 Hi4-Z is powered by a 59.05 kWh ternary lithium battery. It achieves a combined range of 1,096km and a battery-powered range of 201km. The vehicle supports 163 kW DC fast charging, which allows it to charge from 30%-80% of its battery capacity in 15 minutes, and offers external power discharge up to 6 kW.
