The total steel shipment volume at SMM national ports was 789.7 mt, up 402,000 mt (5%) MoM. Among them, the total shipment volume at six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin New Port, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) was 3.0824 million mt, up 361,300 mt, accounting for 39% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume at three major ports in east China (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, Lanbei Port) was 630,400 mt, down 62,700 mt, accounting for 8% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume at two major ports in south China (Zhanjiang Port, Fangchenggang) was 528,600 mt, up 48,900 mt, accounting for 7% of the total shipment volume.

2. Port Arrival Data

The total steel port arrival volume in China was 7.4791 million mt, up 71,300 mt (1%) MoM. Among them, the total port arrival volume at 13 main ports in east China was 426.02 mt, up 156,000 mt, accounting for 57% of the weekly port arrival volume. The total port arrival volume at Guangzhou Port in south China was 562,000 mt, down 12,100 mt, accounting for 8% of the weekly port arrival volume.

The total steel shipment volume at global ports (excluding China) was 2.5813 million mt, with a 12% MoM increase. The total shipment volume at Chinese ports was 3.026 million mt, with a 37% MoM increase.

the global port shipment volume of steel plates was 157,500 mt, down 29% MoM. The global port shipment volume of steel coils was 727,700 mt, up 13% MoM. The global port shipment volume of pig iron was 840,100 mt, down 4% MoM. The global port shipment volume of steel billets was 38.82 mt, up 53% MoM.
