Russia's iron ore reserves are extremely abundant, with proven reserves of approximately 25 billion mt, accounting for 16.5% of the world's total reserves, ranking third globally. In terms of raw ore grade, Russia's ROM iron ore grade is relatively low, but after beneficiation, its grade can reach a high level. The volume of iron ore exported by Russia to China each year accounts for about 40% of its total exports. The total export volume is only 20 million mt, with exports to China reaching just around 8 million mt. These factors collectively affect Russia's iron ore mining and export situation, resulting in a relatively low share in China's imports.
