This week, the average cost in the APT industry was 214,688 yuan/mt, the average profit was -3,188 yuan/mt, and the average profit margin was -1.51%.
As the Chinese New Year holiday approaches, raw material supply tightened, and market prices remained firm; however, weak downstream demand limited the increase in APT prices, further exacerbating the losses for APT smelters.
