SMM, January 10:
As of January 10, 2025, the finished product inventories of secondary lead smelting enterprises stood at 12,900 mt, an increase of 2,220 mt WoW. This week, downstream battery producers showed insufficient pre-holiday purchasing activity, lead prices fluctuated downward, and secondary refined lead suppliers mainly quoted with premiums. Due to relatively small pressure from finished product inventories, suppliers adopted a market-oriented approach to shipments.
