SMM, January 23: During the week of January 13 to January 19, 2025, SMM statistics showed that 28 PV module project sections were awarded to multiple companies in China, including LONGi, Risen Energy, and Chint New Energy. Among these, 16 projects disclosed their installed capacities. The PV module models finalized for procurement this week included P-type modules and N-type TOPCon modules. The winning bid price range was concentrated between 0.65-0.71 yuan/W, with a weekly weighted average price of 0.72 yuan/W, an increase of 0.03 yuan/W compared to the previous week. The total awarded procurement capacity was 4,681.98 MW, a decrease of 2,208.41 MW from the previous week. The confirmed N-type module procurement capacity during the week was approximately 1,912.73 MW, accounting for 40.85%.
Key winning bid information for the week:
1. Hunan Energy Group's Hongsibao New Energy Base 3 million kW PV hybrid power generation project (Phase I: 1 million kW) PV module equipment procurement project. The project planned to procure a total capacity of 1,200 MW of bifacial dual-glass N-type PV modules with a module power of over 615 W. LONGi won the bid at a price of 0.71 yuan/W. Delivery is required within 60 days. JA Solar Technology and Tongwei were shortlisted as bid candidates.
2. Shenzhen Energy Shule 2 million kW PV ESS integrated project Phase II 500,000 kW PV project module procurement. The procurement capacity was approximately 653.59736 MW, with module specifications requiring N-type 615 W bifacial PV modules. Risen Energy won the bid at a price of 0.69 yuan/W, while Anhui Guosheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and DAS Solar were shortlisted as bid candidates.
