Cost: This week, the average price of #421 silicon (for silicone) in east China was 12,150 yuan/mt, unchanged from before the holiday. After the holiday, the fundamentals of silicon metal remained relatively stable, maintaining an overall steady pattern. The price of methyl chloride also remained stable, with transaction prices in east China at 2,300 yuan/mt, unchanged from before the holiday. Comprehensive costs remained unchanged, and cost pressure on monomer enterprises was still relatively high.
DMC: This week, domestic DMC prices were quoted at 12,600-13,100 yuan/mt, with the market price center moving upward. Since the holiday ended, there have been no transactions in the market so far, and the price center has increased by 100 yuan/mt compared to before the holiday. The online store opening price of DMC from monomer enterprises in Shandong was 12,600 yuan/mt, with prices remaining stable. Leading enterprises quoted DMC at 13,500 yuan/mt, with prices stable but no transactions recorded. Other domestic monomer enterprises quoted DMC at around 12,600-12,800 yuan/mt this week. However, these are mainly quoted prices, as downstream enterprises have not fully resumed operations and have not yet made purchases.
Silicone Oil: This week, domestic dimethyl silicone oil prices remained stable, with current market quotes at 14,000-15,500 yuan/mt and an average price of 14,750 yuan/mt, unchanged from before the holiday. Domestic silicone oil enterprises have not fully resumed production, and market supply remains relatively limited. Additionally, demand for silicone oil has weakened due to the holiday impact. As a result, only a small number of enterprises are quoting prices, and no large-scale transactions have been formed in the current market.
107 Silicone Rubber: This week, the price of 107 silicone rubber remained stable, with current quotes at 12,700-13,500 yuan/mt and an average price of 13,100 yuan/mt. After the Chinese New Year holiday, most 107 silicone rubber enterprises have not resumed operations. It is expected that downstream enterprises will resume operations around the Lantern Festival. Therefore, the market was relatively mediocre this week. Monomer enterprises operated normally during the holiday, and the inventory of 107 silicone rubber increased slightly to meet the demand for purchases during the peak season. Subsequent orders are expected to increase.
Silicone MVQ: This week, the price of silicone MVQ was 13,600-14,200 yuan/mt, with an average price of 13,900 yuan/mt, remaining stable. Before the holiday, leading enterprises in silicone MVQ made significant shipments. After the holiday, market transactions were mediocre. Although some downstream enterprises resumed operations, most enterprises are waiting for silicone MVQ logistics to arrive before making purchases according to their production schedules. Domestic market transactions were relatively few this week, and silicone MVQ prices remained stable.
