Webstock Inc., citing foreign media on February 6, reported that global mining company Anglo American announced on Wednesday that copper production last year fell by 6% to 773,000 mt, while Q4 copper production decreased by 14%.
The London-listed miner expects copper production in 2025 to reach 690,000-750,000 mt.
Anglo American stated that forward-looking copper production guidance remains unchanged, with copper production in 2026 expected to increase to 760,000-820,000 mt, driven by improved copper grades in Chile, and copper production in 2027 is projected to be 760,000-820,000 mt.
