1.CATL and SAIC Sign Agreement to Deepen Strategic Cooperation
Recently, CATL and SAIC officially signed an agreement to deepen their strategic cooperation. The two parties will further promote win-win collaboration in various fields, including joint technology innovation, the vehicle and battery aftermarket, overseas business expansion, and battery swapping.
According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop power battery products tailored for SAIC. CATL's innovative technologies, such as the Qilin battery and Shenxing battery, will be prioritized for application in SAIC's car models. SAIC will regard CATL as its preferred partner for automotive power batteries.
In the vehicle and battery aftermarket, such as charging pile construction, used car business, and battery cascade utilization and recycling, the two parties will actively explore further deepening of strategic cooperation. In overseas markets, CATL will leverage its overseas resources to support SAIC's accelerated international expansion by building overseas after-sales service networks and supplying from overseas production sites.
2.Tianqi New Energy Signs Cooperation Agreement with Ferrari
Recently, Tianqi New Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianqi Co., signed a cooperation agreement with Ferrari International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai.
Tianqi New Energy will establish a long-term and stable partnership with Ferrari and provide comprehensive battery maintenance services. This collaboration will not only enhance Tianqi New Energy's remanufacturing capabilities and technical maintenance advantages in the NEV power battery sector but also further strengthen Tianqi Co.'s overall competitiveness in lithium battery recycling, remanufacturing, and reuse.
In the future, Tianqi New Energy will also work with Ferrari to explore sustainable development models in the battery remanufacturing field, actively participating in the wave of international development and contributing to Tianqi Co.'s progress in global expansion.
3.Huayou Recycling Signs Memorandum of Understanding with SUEZ
In recent years, Huayou Recycling Industry Group has leveraged its integrated industrial structure advantages and innovatively proposed the "“Low-Carbon Circular Ecosystem for Lithium Battery Life Cycle Management” solution. Through establishing a strategic partnership with SUEZ, the company will comprehensively expand its overseas presence and deeply explore the battery recycling value chain in Europe and the Americas, injecting new vitality into the European battery recycling market.
