SMM, February 21:
As of February 21, 2025, the finished product inventories of secondary lead smelters stood at 17,290 mt, down 4,690 mt WoW. After the Lantern Festival, downstream battery producers gradually resumed operations. Although end-use consumption remained weak and battery producers had limited new orders for lead ingots, many enterprises still restocked at lower prices following the mid-week decline in lead prices. The in-plant inventory of secondary refined lead continued to decrease.
