SMM, February 25: Today, the rare earth oxide market continued to rise slightly. Specifically, the price of Pr-Nd oxide increased to 449,000-451,000 yuan/mt; dysprosium oxide rose to 1.72-1.75 million yuan/mt, while terbium oxide climbed to 6.25-6.27 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, gadolinium oxide and holmium oxide remained stable at 164,000-166,000 yuan/mt and 464,000-468,000 yuan/mt, respectively. The price of erbium oxide edged up slightly to 295,000-297,000 yuan/mt.
In the metal market, the price of Pr-Nd alloy remained at 549,000-553,000 yuan/mt, while dysprosium-iron alloy and terbium metal prices stayed stable at 1.7-1.74 million yuan/mt and 7.8-7.85 million yuan/mt, respectively. Gadolinium-iron prices also held steady at 160,000-163,000 yuan/mt, and lanthanum-cerium metal prices remained at 17,000-19,000 yuan/mt.
Overall, rare earth oxide prices continued to rise today, while metal prices remained generally stable. Although market transactions increased, the pace was slow, and sentiment remained cautious. In the short term, rare earth prices are expected to fluctuate rangebound.
