Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 1, Chinese automaker BAIC Group and smart speech solution developer iFlytek signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly advance automotive intelligent technologies.
Leveraging cutting-edge AI and large-model capabilities, the partners aim to enhance the R&D of intelligent connected vehicles and drive digital transformation within the automotive industry.
Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate across multiple domains, including intelligent human-machine interaction, in-car AI applications, big data analytics, and smart V2X platforms. Specifically, they plan to research intelligent cockpit applications, such as advanced interactive scenarios and industry-specific AI models. Additionally, they will co-develop an intelligent in-car audio system for BAIC’s self-owned brands to enhance user auditory experiences.
The partnership also includes deep cooperation in multilingual AI applications to support smart vehicle deployments in overseas markets and the development of AI-powered autonomous driving solutions. Furthermore, BAIC and iFlytek will collaborate on enterprise digitalization, automotive retail digitalization, and AI model construction.
As the automotive sector becomes a key application area for AI large models, iFlytek brings extensive expertise in smart cockpits, intelligent sound systems, and digital transformation. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the integration of AI within the automotive industry, shaping the future of intelligent mobility.
