【Highlights】Enjie Co., Ltd.: Solid Electrolyte Production Line with Ton-Level Capacity Completed

On March 11, Enjie Co., Ltd. (002812) stated during an investor communication session that the company's all-solid-state products mainly include lithium sulphide, sulphide solid electrolytes, and sulphide solid electrolyte membranes. The lithium sulphide production line with a capacity of hundreds of tons is in trial production, the solid electrolyte production line with ton-level capacity has been completed, a 10-ton production line is under construction, and a pilot production line with a capacity of 1,000 tons is planned. The solid electrolyte membrane is currently in the small-scale R&D stage.

Notably, on January 13, Enjie Co., Ltd.'s controlling subsidiary, Shanghai Enjie New Material Technology Co., Ltd., signed a "Procurement Framework Agreement" with Beijing WELION New Energy. It was agreed that WELION New Energy would allocate 80% of its material procurement share to Shanghai Enjie and its controlled affiliates for purchasing electrolyte separators for half-solid state batteries, as well as electrolytes and electrolyte membranes for all-solid-state batteries. From 2025 to 2030, Beijing WELION New Energy is expected to place orders with Shanghai Enjie and its controlled affiliates for no less than 300 million m² of electrolyte separators for half-solid and all-solid-state batteries and no less than 100 mt of electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, subject to actual procurement orders. It is reported that Sichuan Development Xingneng's short-process vanadium electrolyte production project, located in the Lianjie Industrial Park of Neijiang Economic Development Zone, is the world's largest short-process vanadium electrolyte production project. The project adopts independently developed next-generation short-process vanadium electrolyte production technology. The all-vanadium flow batteries produced using this technology have been listed as one of the key promoted technologies in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" New-Type Energy Storage Development Implementation Plan and can be widely applied in power grid peak shaving energy storage.
