SMM March 19 News: Dealers in Hunan report that end-use consumption of automotive batteries is weak. Despite lead prices fluctuating upward, promotional activities are increasingly seen in the battery wholesale market, with the main model 6-QW-60Ah priced at 210 yuan per unit. Manufacturers in Guangdong indicate that domestic sales of automotive batteries are moderate, and exports are hindered due to price ratio issues. The current operating rate of the factories is around 70%, and there are plans for a month-end inventory check and holiday next week. Producers in Zhejiang note that the traditional off-season for automotive batteries is approaching, and dealers' purchasing enthusiasm is average.
