The National Energy Administration: New PV Installations Reached 39.47 GW in the First Two Months On March 20, the National Energy Administration released national power industry statistics for January-February. Among these, new PV installations reached 39.47 GW, up 7.49% YoY. By the end of February, the total installed power generation capacity was 3.4 billion kW, up 14.5% YoY. Of this, solar power installations were 930 million kW, up 42.9% YoY; wind power installations were 530 million kW, up 17.6% YoY. (National Bureau of Statistics)
On March 20, the National Energy Administration released national power industry statistics for January-February. Among these, 39.47 GW of new PV capacity was added, up 7.49% YoY. By the end of February, the country's total installed power generation capacity reached 3.4 billion kW, up 14.5% YoY. This included 930 million kW of solar power capacity, up 42.9% YoY, and 530 million kW of wind power capacity, up 17.6% YoY. In January-February, the cumulative average utilization hours of power generation equipment nationwide were 505 hours, a decrease of 61 hours compared to the same period last year; major power generation companies completed 75.3 billion yuan in power supply project investments, up 0.2% YoY; and 43.6 billion yuan in power grid project investments, up 33.5% YoY.
