Jidian Shares Wind and Solar Power Hydrogen and Ammonia Production Project Tender
Mar 21, 2025, at 3:48 am
Jilin Electric Power Co., Ltd. Released the Announcement for the Centralized Tender of the 14th Batch of Construction and Equipment Projects for the Daan Wind and Solar Power to Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project. The current tender for the Daan Wind and Solar Power to Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project includes 10 sections, with those related to hydrogen being: Section One: EPC General Contract for a 15,000 Nm3 Organic Liquid Hydrogen Storage Facility and Public Auxiliary Facilities for the Daan Hydrogen Storage Innovation Demonstration Project. The bidder is responsible for the design, equipment supply, construction, commissioning, reaching production standards, meeting specified performance guarantee indicators, and providing warranty until the expiration for a complete 15,000 Nm3 organic liquid hydrogen storage system, as well as the overall layout, geological survey, and public auxiliary facilities for solid-state and organic liquid hydrogen storage areas. Project Location: Chemical Industry Park, Liangjiazi Town, Daan City, Baicheng City, Jilin Province. Project Scale: The Daan Wind and Solar Power to Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project has a new energy construction scale of 800,000 kW, including the construction of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, and an 180,000 mt/year ammonia synthesis plant. The new energy part has an installed capacity of 800,000 kW, with 700,000 kW from wind power and 100,000 kW from PV: 400,000 kW (300,000 kW from wind power and 100,000 kW from PV) for self-use, and another 400,000 kW of wind power for self-use with surplus electricity fed into the grid; it also includes the construction of a 40 MW/80 MWh ESS, and a new 220 kV collection and step-up substation. For wind power, the installation will use wind turbines with a single-unit capacity of 5.0 MW or more, a hub height of 110 meters or more, and a rotor diameter of 190 meters or more. For PV, the installation will use N-type 560 Wp bifacial modules, with flat-tilt single-axis brackets and string inverters. For the hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis part: the project plans to build 50 sets of 200 Nm3/h PEM hydrogen production equipment, 36 sets of 1,000 Nm3/h alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, a 20,000 Nm3/h air separation unit, a 180,000 mt/year ammonia synthesis plant, hydrogen storage, ESS, and related public auxiliary facilities, designed to produce 32,000 mt of hydrogen and 180,000 mt of ammonia annually. Overall Project Schedule: The service is expected to start in August 2024 and end in December 2025 (the specific schedule will be based on the actual construction progress).
