General Administration of Customs: China’s Refined Copper Imports Rose 14.39% YoY in February Breakdown of Data

Customs statistics online query platform data showed that China's refined copper imports in February 2025 were 305,133 mt, up 2.70% MoM and up 14.39% YoY. The DRC was the largest supplier, with 99,005.748 mt of refined copper imported from the DRC in the month, down 30.67% MoM and up 13.52% YoY. Russia was the second-largest supplier, with 48,009.29 mt of refined copper imported from Russia, up 405.78% MoM and up 234.83% YoY. Below is a summary table of refined copper import details for February 2025, compiled based on data from the General Administration of Customs of China: Note: 1. This includes unwrought refined copper cathode with >99.9935% copper content; unwrought other refined copper cathode; unwrought refined copper wire bars; unwrought refined copper cathode profiles; unwrought refined copper billets; and other unwrought refined copper. 2. The total imports (total) also include origin data not listed in the above table.
