Hebei 1.02GWh Standalone ESS EPC Tender Opened!】Polaris ESS News: On March 25, the EPC tender for the Hebei Shangyi 300MW/1200MWh standalone ESS power station (Phase II) expansion project of 210MW/840MWh and 90MW/180MWh was opened. The total tender scale was 300MW/1020MWh, with the bid prices from the three consortiums ranging from 0.5652 to 0.5658 yuan/Wh. Moreover, subsidiaries of China Railway Group participated in all three consortiums.

Polaris Energy Storage News: On March 25, the EPC tender for the 210MW/840MWh and 90MW/180MWh expansion projects of the Hebei Shangyi 300MW/1200MWh standalone ESS power station (Phase II) was opened. The total tender scale was 300MW/1020MWh, with the bid prices of the three consortiums ranging from 0.5652 to 0.5658 yuan/Wh. Moreover, all three consortiums included subsidiaries of China Railway Group.

The first winning candidate was a consortium of Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and China Railway Ninth Bureau Group Electric Engineering Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 576.981 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.5657 yuan/Wh.

The second winning candidate was a consortium of Sichuan Electric Power Design & Consulting Co., Ltd. and China Railway First Bureau Group Electric Engineering Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 576.4984 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.5652 yuan/Wh.

The third winning candidate was a consortium of PowerChina Jilin Electric Power Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd. and China Railway 12th Bureau Group Electrification Engineering Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 577.1658 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.5658 yuan/Wh.

According to the previous tender, the project is located in Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. This project involves the construction of a new 210MW/840MWh ESS power station in Phase II, while expanding the Phase I 90MW/180MWh ESS power station to 90MW/360MWh. The ESS battery uses LFP batteries, and both the battery system and power conversion system of the ESS station adopt an outdoor container layout scheme.
