SHANGHAI, Jul 4 (SMM) – Battery separator prices held steady last week, with supply and demand relatively balanced. Raw materials, including PP and PE, displayed stable price trends with consistent cost. Regarding supply and demand, many battery separator firms continued to operate at high production levels, leading to a gradual increase in market circulation. However, there were significant variations in downstream demand. Dry process separators were in high demand, whereas, in the wet process separator sector, due to increased power and energy storage demands, the demand for 7 and 9μm was relatively strong, and 5μm slightly weak. Nevertheless, overall market supply and demand remained balanced, forecasting that future prices will be unchanged.
