The National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on improving the government’s integrity performance mechanism and optimizing the development environment of the private economy. Among them, it is proposed to make full use of the punishment measures for dishonesty in the development and reform system. For relevant entities with a record of dishonesty, the Commission will limit their financial support from the central budget, the application of local government special bonds, and the recommendation of various financing projects in accordance with regulations. For cities above the prefecture level that have a record of government dishonesty, the Commission will cancel their development and reform system’s evaluation and pilot demonstration qualifications, increase the weight of deduction points for their urban credit monitoring, and cancel their title of social credit system construction demonstration area or participation in the evaluation qualifications.
