Shanghai (Gasgoo)- At the COP29 (the 29th Conference of the Parties) summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, NIO announced a strategic partnership with Green Car, marking its upcoming entry into the Azerbaijani market. The agreement, signed on November 15, paves the way for NIO to offer its smart electric vehicle products and services in the region, expanding its footprint in the Caucasus.
Under the terms of the partnership, Green Car will serve as NIO's exclusive national-level distributor in Azerbaijan, operating under a direct sales model. Following NIO's comprehensive standards, Green Car will oversee local operations, including sales, services, and community engagement. The company will also invest in establishing NIO's charging and battery swap stations, service centers, and NIO Houses across the country. NIO plans to commence product deliveries in Azerbaijan by the second quarter of 2025, providing the full suite of its services to users in the Caucasus region.
