Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 27, HIMA, Huawei's smart car alliance, announced that there were 15 supercharging stations and 224 supercharging guns under the Huawei brand newly deployed between November 18 and 24, 2024. The new installations span cities including Shanghai, Suzhou, Xi'an, Chongqing, Huizhou, Shenyang, Shangqiu, Yongzhou, Taiyuan, Hengshui, Luohe, Xinyang, and Zhenjiang.
Earlier this year, Huawei announced the formation of a "supercharging" alliance, with the Chinese automakers such as BYD, GAC Group, FAW-Volkswagen, Chery, Li Auto, SERES, XPENG, ARCFOX, AVATR, JAC Group, Great Wall Motor, and NETA Auto joining it.
Notably, in this October, Huawei released its fully liquid-cooled supercharging station, located at the P3 parking lot of Kunshan South Railway Station in Jiangsu Province, which is able to charging 60 new energy vehicles simultaneously. Inspired by traditional data center cooling solutions, this supercharging station boasts a maximum output of 720 kW, optimizing energy usage to achieve efficient charging while reducing the risk of equipment overheating, thereby enhancing safety during charging.
