Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 27, Li Auto announced that its highway supercharging network has already surpassed 600 stations. To be specific, the network now has 601 self-built supercharging stations with 2,670 chargers operational, covering 9 national level highways and 10 charging routes for long-distance road trips.
According to publicly available information, Li Auto's 5C superfast charging stations on highways deliver charging speeds of 500 kilometers in just 12 minutes, with a peak power output of up to 520 kW per charger. On urban stations, the same range can be achieved in 25 minutes, with a peak output of 250 kW. Additionally, these supercharging stations are equipped with charging guns weighing only 3.3 kg, offering 800V high-efficiency energy replenishment. The stations are also designed to operate with low noise and provide spacious parking areas.
Besides, Li Auto ensures each parking space at its 5C supercharging stations is equipped with an independent camera system that automatically detects vehicle occupancy, activates ground locks, and identifies and reports any safety concerns. Due to the system, real-time operating status and charging data of vehicles can be transmitted to the Li Auto's cloud computing platform for back-end analysis, enabling the early detection of potential issues.
As of November 24, 2024, Li Auto has built a total of 1,049 supercharging stations with 5,168 charging piles in 180 cities across China.
