This week, LME lead opened at $1,925/mt, fluctuated upward in the first half of the week, peaked mid-week at $1,975/mt, and weakened in the latter half due to poor performance in the spot market combined with the US dollar index fluctuating at highs. LME lead dipped to $1,917/mt and finally closed at $1,952/mt as of 15:00 on Friday, up by 1.61%.
This week, the most-traded SHFE lead 2502 contract opened at 16,615 yuan/mt, briefly touched a high of 16,820 yuan/mt at the beginning of the session, fluctuated rangebound around the intraday moving average mid-week, and fluctuated downward in the latter half of the week. On Friday, it dipped to 16,305 yuan/mt and finally closed at 16,600 yuan/mt, down by 0.51%.
