[SMM HRC Daily Transactions] Futures Surge Strongly, Spot Transactions Increase

[SMM HRC Daily Trading Volume] On February 20, the daily trading volume of HRC from sample enterprises in four cities (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin, Ningbo) monitored by SMM totaled 17,720 mt, up 1,080 mt or 6.50% WoW. HRC futures surged strongly in the afternoon, and spot prices followed with an increase of 10-30 yuan/mt. The market trading sentiment was moderate, and overall trading volume increased on a WoW basis.
