Yesterday, Pr-Nd prices slightly increased, and the overall price fluctuation in the rare earth market was not significant. According to SMM, the mainstream transaction prices for Pr-Nd oxide were slightly adjusted to 414,000-415,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide prices remained stable at 1.74-1.76 million yuan/mt, terbium oxide prices also remained stable at around 5.7 million yuan/mt, gadolinium oxide prices remained stable at 177,000-180,000 yuan/mt, and holmium oxide prices continued to be stable at 520,000-525,000 yuan/mt today.
The mainstream transaction prices for Pr-Nd alloy were also adjusted to 511,000-518,000 yuan/mt yesterday along with the oxides. According to the SMM survey, after the holiday, the market sentiment remained cautious, with upstream separation plants holding firm on their quotes and slightly increasing the prices for Pr-Nd products. Metal plants were not actively quoting, and some holders raised their quotes for oxides, resulting in very few actual transactions. Downstream magnetic material companies showed low inquiry activity and mainly restocked as needed. As the National Day Golden Week approaches, it is expected that some magnetic material companies may have stocking needs, and rare earth prices may not see a downward trend in the near future.
