Guangzhou (Gasgoo)- On November 15, Geely's new energy vehicle brand ZEEKR unveiled its advanced Haohan 2.0 Plus intelligent driving architecture ("Haohan" is named in Chinese pinyin) at the Auto Guangzhou 2024, showcasing significant improvements in adaptive driving and obstacle avoidance.
The Haohan 2.0 Plus, ZEEKR's proprietary end-to-end intelligent driving architecture, builds on the original model by integrating a new digital prescience network and a multimodal large language model (MLM). This upgrade enhances situational awareness and driving behavior to the level of an experienced local driver.
The Haohan 1.0 version was launched in December 2023. By October 31, 2024, the Haohan 2.0's HD map-free urban NZP (Navigation ZEEKR Pilot) function entered public testing, with a nationwide rollout planned by late 2024.
A highlight of the Haohan 2.0 Plus is ZEEKR's innovative digital prescience network, which introduces three key capabilities: road prescience, behavior prescience, and spatio-temporal prescience. This network enables dynamic road hazard avoidance, such as maneuvering around potholes or responding instantly to sudden obstacles like pedestrians. It also enhances spatial awareness, preventing potential accidents at road junctions.
Supporting this network, the MLM model interprets complex traffic scenarios and possesses general world knowledge, allowing it to perform conscious reasoning akin to human drivers. A built-in safety model continuously monitors and corrects any decision-making anomalies, ensuring stable and safe driving performance.
Additionally, ZEEKR introduces a parking spot-to-parking spot navigation (D2D) function in the Haohan 2.0 Plus system, with features like all-speed activation, unrestricted parking adaptability, and autonomous vacancy detection, slated for staggered release from January 2025.
